2024 Volleyball Camps
This summer, NWI Premier Volleyball is teaming up with the University of Northern Iowa coach, Kim Davis, to help run our All Skills Volleyball Camps again this Summer!
Former Panther standout Kim Davis completed her 22rd year on head coach Bobbi Petersen’s coaching staff in 2023. Coach Petersen hired Davis as an assistant coach in 2002. In her coaching tenure, Davis has coached the Panthers to nine MVC regular season titles and nine MVC tournament titles. Within this same period, the Panthers have made 15 NCAA Volleyball Championship appearances with a 9-15 record.
The Panthers have had seven players take home the MVC Player of the Year award since Davis has been on staff. In her time as an assistant coach, 58 Panthers have earned All-Conference recognition, and 16 Panthers have been named to the All-Freshman Team.
Davis has been instrumental in academic success of the Panther student athletes. Under her watch the Panthers have had 49 MVC Scholar-Athletes and five Academic All-America honorees from College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
A native of Carroll, Iowa, the former Kim McCaffrey was one of the best players in UNI history, having been named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Centennial Volleyball Team in 2006.
She helped lead UNI to its second NCAA Sweet 16 appearance as a senior in 2001, earning First Team All-Conference honors for the third time and being selected to the All-Central Region squad.
NWI Premier/UNI All Skills High School Volleyball Camp

In this High School Summer Camp UNI’s Assistant Coach Kim Davis will be teaching beginner to advanced athletes the skills and techniques of volleyball. Sessions will include general skill instruction, specialized skill instruction and team competition. This will be a great refresher of the game prior to the fall season.
The camp is for any player in the surrounding Holstein are who will be entering 9th-12th grade in the fall. This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender) as required by the NCAA rules. Campers that register before June 17th will receive an NWI T-shirt!

In this two day camp, we’ll be going over all things volleyball and having some fun! We’ll be teaching players how to control the ball via hitting, serving, passing, and setting. Pass form, arm swing mechanics and hitting approach will be covered extensively to ensure all players are doing both correctly.
We’ll also be working on court awareness and movement along with communication in the front row and back row. Competition and expectations will be at a high level to help enhance each player’s individual training goals.
Register online and we’ll confirm your spot in the camp. Please sign player up for grade level he/she will be in the 2024 fall season. Campers that register before June 17th will receive an NWI T-shirt!
3rd & 4th Grade All Skills Camp
