BEACH VOLLEYBALL

Beach VOLLEYBALL

Compete in the Sunshine with NWI Premier Beach Volleyball

USA Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball is now a collegiate sport recognized by NCAA Division I and II schools. It's increasing in popularity every year at the junior level and we're excited to offer it as an extension of NWI Premier Volleyball. Playing doubles beach volleyball is a great way to improve your volleyball skills by learning how to read, increase your defensive range, and learn to attack.

To participate, registration as a USA Iowa Region Jr. Member is required.  If players have participated in a USAV program for the year, they should already be a registered member.

Volleyball season tryouts are in October, and the beach tournament season is from May to July. Sign up for our email list to be notified of upcoming volleyball events.

NWI Premier USAV Club Beach Program

Note: Our 2v2 USAV Club Beach Program is full for the 2024-25 season

If your athlete is looking to become a complete, all around volleyball athlete it is suggested by accredited Olympic coaches and elite NCAA coaches to play beach volleyball. Unlike indoor, beach focuses players to touch the ball every possession and therefore get to work on some of those skills that aren't as strong as others. You also learn how to read and anticipate the ball better with sand evolving into better ball control.
